Doug Schoon is an internationally renowned scientist, author, and educator. He has over 30 years of experience in the cosmetics, beauty, and hygiene industries. He is a leading expert in the field, whose research findings have helped shape the beauty industry into what it is today. Doug Schoon is the chairman of the Nail Manufacturers Council (NMC) and has, for example, served as the chief scientist at Creative Nail Design (CND) for over 20 years, overseeing the research & development (R&D) laboratory and field research/evaluation departments.
Doug Schoon is now publishing the first part of his new book series, "Face-to-Face with Doug Schoon," which is based on parts 1-50 of his popular video seminars.
The topic of this first book is scientifically factual answers to questions posed by nail professionals, specifically concerning various nail enhancement treatments, regardless of brand. The book covers topics such as: L&P acrylics, UV-cured products, UV lamps, hygiene and product safety, nail preparation, and avoiding skin problems.
