In Riihimäki, basic training courses are held only in small groups of two people. Training days are scheduled for both weekdays and weekends. 

The training includes 9 in-person days and over 120 hours of independent practice between in-person days. See the detailed program further below.

The price of the basic training in Riihimäki is €2800 (incl. VAT 25.5%). The price includes a practice spot, a starter kit, an LED lamp, a dust collector, and an electric file.

The-AN-Academy Riihimäki courses can be paid by invoice and in installments. You can find invoicing services under the Paytrail payment method.

Traditional invoicing (without a billing company) and installment payments are also possible. We will invoice the training in one or four interest-free installments. The first installment serves as a reservation fee and is paid upon registration for the training. The next 3 installments are paid by the last in-person day.

The training must be paid within 2 weeks of accepting the training spot. You can pay for the training by invoice and in installments. The starter kit and electrical devices (Rovaniemi, Jyväskylä) should preferably be ordered from the instructor or the online store at least 2 weeks before the start of the training.

Day I from 10 AM – 5 PM

Theory.

Introduction to the training program.
Hygiene and occupational safety, tool maintenance.

Nail anatomy through the eyes of a nail technician.

Work ethics and fundamentals of building long-term client relationships.

Pricing.
Gel polish and reinforcement services as a salon strength.

No model.

Day II from 10 AM – 5 PM
Natural nail treatment part 1

Manicure

New gel polish application

Model 1 arrives at 12:30 PM.

 

Day III from 10 AM – 5 PM

Natural nail treatment part 2

Manicure

New light natural nail reinforcements

Day IV from 10 AM – 5 PM

New square sculpted nails.

Model 3 arrives at 12:30 PM.

During the training, one hand is completed, and the other hand is left as homework. It is also possible for two students to share one model. Arrange this separately with your course mate.

Day V from 10 AM – 5 PM

New oval sculpted nails

French manicure

Model 4 arrives at 10:30 AM.

During the training, one student works on both hands of the model.

Day VI from 10 AM – 5 PM

Square maintenance.

During the training, the goal is for one student to work on both hands of the model. If there are problems finding models, two students can share one model. Arrange this separately with your course mate.

 

Day VIII from 10 AM – 4 PM
Reshaping maintenance from oval to almond.

Model 4 arrives at 10 AM.

 

Day IX from 10 AM – 5 PM   
Final skill assessment and written exam. The date of the final assessment is agreed upon separately with the instructor. 

 

Bring your own note-taking materials, snacks, and lunches to all training days.

The training center has a refrigerator and a microwave.

Each student has their own Mosaic Professionails supplies for use during the training. You will find the necessary supplies in the starter kit. In addition, for practice, you will need a Mosaic LED lamp and an electric file. All electric files in the online store are suitable. 

You can pre-order the starter kit and electrical devices from the online store, and the package will be waiting for you at the training center on the first day of training. Please note that it is advisable to order the starter kit 2-3 weeks in advance.

You will need a total of 4 models for the in-person days. We always strive to provide clients with high-quality nails that last from maintenance to maintenance without problems. The nails always stay beautiful. Throughout the training, the student is supported by the instructor and the national Mosaic student team. The student is responsible for communication during the training. Support also continues after the training, and skills can be further refined with additional training.
