Powder for disinfecting and chemical sterilisation of instruments.
Instructions for use:
Dissolve 20 g of Viruton powder in 990 ml of warm tap water (2% solution).
Cover the container and leave to activate for 15 minutes.
Stir the solution. A small residual amount of powder at the bottom of the container keeps the solution stable.
The solution remains stable for a maximum of 30 hours; change the solution daily.
Immerse dry and cleaned instruments completely in the solution. Keep the instruments immersed in the solution for 15 minutes.
A 2% solution chemically sterilises the instruments.
Using warm water speeds up the dissolution of the powder.
After dissolving, rinse the instruments thoroughly with clean water.
