Personal data
When you shop in our online store, we collect certain personal information from you, such as your name, address, and email address. By registering as a user of our online store, we consider you to be giving your consent for your data to be stored in our customer register.
We use your personal data for concluding and implementing delivery contracts, tracking orders and returns, and in other matters related to managing the customer relationship.
In Mosaic Pro and Exclusive applications, we also request information such as details of your basic nail industry education and your company's information. We use this information to assess whether the customer meets the group's requirements.
If we ask for your personal data to be used for other purposes, such as our own marketing, we will specifically ask for your separate consent.
Mosaic Nail Systems Finland is responsible for your personal data that you provide to us, or that we receive in connection with your order. We ensure the proper handling and storage of customer data, and Mosaic Nail Systems Finland does not disclose your data to third parties.

Shopify
Our online store's service provider is Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform through which we sell our products and services. Your order information is stored on Shopify's secure server behind a firewall.
Payments
If you choose a payment gateway service as your payment method, Shopify stores your credit card information. The information is encrypted according to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Information about your purchase transaction is stored only as long as necessary to complete the purchase transaction, after which the information is deleted.
Third-party services
Third parties may be used for data processing, in which case data may be disclosed to them for processing on behalf of our company. These third-party service providers, such as payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies, and we recommend familiarizing yourself with them.
Cookies
The number of visitors to our online store and other information collected during normal page visits (IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit) are monitored at a general level using cookie files or other similar technology. In this context, we do not collect or store individual data about visitors. If you wish, you can disable cookies in your browser's security settings, but they are required for many online store functions, such as the shopping cart.
Changes to the privacy policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy, so it is good to review it periodically. Changes will take effect immediately when they are published on the website. If the ownership of our online store changes, your data may be transferred to the new owner so that your customer relationship can continue.

Purpose of personal data processing:
The purpose of the register is to maintain Mosaic Nail Systems Finland's customer register, conclude and implement delivery contracts, process and archive customer orders, monitor order deliveries, and other matters related to managing the customer relationship. The data can also be used for developing Mosaic Nail Systems Finland's operations and for statistical purposes. The register data can be used in Mosaic Nail Systems Finland's own marketing for customers who have given their separate consent for it.
Data contained in the register
The personal register may contain the following data:
First and last name of the person
Email address
Postal address
Phone number
Information about processed orders
Person's date of birth
Customer's company information, such as business ID and name
Customer's nail industry education information
Data sources of the register:
Data is collected from the customer when they register as a customer, place an order in the online store, apply to our interest groups, or subscribe to the newsletter.
Disclosure or transfer of data
Data may be disclosed for processing by Mosaic Nail Systems Finland to a third party when necessary for the provision of services or the operation of the online store.

- the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected
- the customer withdraws their consent to data processing, and there is no other legal basis for processing
- the data has been used illegally
The customer has the right to restrict the processing of data concerning them if
- they dispute the accuracy of their data
- the data processing is unlawful, but the customer objects to its deletion from the register
- the data is no longer needed for the original purpose of processing, but the customer needs it for legal actions
The customer has the right to request a copy of their data in the register, as well as the transfer of their data to another register.
The customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates the law.
